Invoice Proration

When you change your Tax Nuggets Academy subscription plan say, upgrading to a higher plan or adjusting the number of users, Stripe automatically prorates your charges so you only pay for what you use. Here’s what that means in plain English 👇

🧾 What Is Proration?

If you make a change in the middle of your billing period, Stripe will:

1. Give you credit for the unused time on your old plan
2. Charge you only for the remaining time on your new plan

The result is a proportional adjustment on your next invoice. You’ll never be double-charged or overbilled.

Understanding Quantity on your Invoice

When you’re on a Teams plan, you might notice that the Quantity shown on your invoice doesn’t always match the number of people on your team — and that’s on purpose!

Our billing model includes:

1. A minimum spend
2. A free Organisation Owner seat
3. Paid seats for additional members beyond 2 members
